What's happening in our 

learning communities?

Presented by the Year 1 classes

The Year Ones have been pursuing excellence in our learning this term and we have achieved so many of our goals! 

We had sports day where Xavier took home one of the awards. The Year Ones made their teachers very proud with their great listening skills and sportsmanship.  

We have been writing procedures about Fairy Bread and working on our functional grammar skills. 

We have been experimenting with different materials in chemical science. As part of this we worked in groups to make spaghetti and marshmallow towers!  

1B have also been making decorations for the Good Shepherd Christmas Carols evening as part of being Heart People and supporting our local community.  

The students have done a great job making special decorations for people to enjoy in their homes this festive season.
