Principal's Report

Dear families,

From all reports the Grade 5 & 6 students are having a wonderful time on camp enjoying the sea air and sunshine. We look forward to their return on Friday. A special thank you to Craig, Filippa and Sarah for volunteering to go on camp, it is a big-time commitment and responsibility. We are very fortunate to have staff who put the students' needs ahead of their own.

We will keep you updated via an SMS tomorrow with an expected time they are due home.

CONDOLENCES

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to the Frost family at this extremely sad time on the recent loss of their father/partner. 

MOSQUITOES/WILDLIFE

Mosquitoes are in abundance at school at the moment. We suggest students wear some form of repellent to protect them whilst outside.

Over the past few weeks we have had two snakes in our school grounds. We are encouraging the students to take care whilst in the yard. 

CONCERT

All going according to plan the concert will be presented on the stage at the Junction Hotel in Toolamba. Tickets are on sale, through the Qkr app only. The cost is $10 per ticket. Primary school age children and under are free. Tickets can be collected at the office.

Costume bags and notes are required back at by Monday 14th November. The bags are to be given to the classroom teacher.

Arrival at the hotel. Children are required at the venue by 6.00pm. Parents are responsible for the supervision of children prior to this time. Please enter through the side gate to the left of the building and walk around to the grassed area.

Families are welcome to bring food and refreshments, however, because it is a licenced venue, BYO alcohol is not permitted. There will be some tables and chairs set up and picnic rugs and camp chairs can be brought from home.

The outside bar will open an hour before the concert and close during the performance. Hot food such as hot chips and drinks will be available for purchase.
