Remembrance Day
This coming Friday 11th of November, is Remembrance Day, a day in which we recall the people who lost their lives during the wars. As a school community, we will gather to recall and remember all our loved ones lost at war. This is an opportunity to reflect and remember the departed but also to pray for world peace. As a school community, we will gather to commemorate Remembrance Day.
“The Ode” which is recited on Remembrance Day:
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,
We will remember them.
