Week 6 Term 4

St Fidelis School is committed to the care, wellbeing and protection of children , young people and vulnerable people in our community.

One Minute's Silence

Each year on this day, Australians observe one minute’s silence at 11 am, in memory of those men and women who have died or suffered in all wars, conflicts and peace operations. At St Fidelis, the children will participate in a short prayer service at 10:50 am and observe the one-minute silence at 11:00 am outside near the flagpole.

The whole School Prayer and assembly will be held at the usual time of 9:00 am in the hall and Year 5/6 OS will lead us in prayer, focusing on learning more about the significance of Remembrance Day.

The Coburg RSL have sent us some poppies, pens and wristbands to sell to support their work for the returned soldiers and their families. They will be on sale every day at lunchtime. Prices range from $2 - $10.

STEM MAD Showcase

Last Friday, we welcomed Shelley Waldon, Science & STEM Leader and Patrick Watt, Facilitator, MC and Educator from MACS who were our special guests for the STEM MAD showcase. The students and Mr Frazzetto did us proud presenting to the parents, students and these special guests. See L & T page for Mr Frazzetto's report and more images.

COVID - RAT tests

Please collect Rapid Antigen Tests from the office if you require them. Please continue to notify us if your child has COVID as we are required to contact MACS with our daily numbers.

Please take a moment to read the newsletter. The teachers, staff, parents and friends, Theircare etc… spend a great deal of time communicating what is happening in their area. Please take a moment to read over the newsletter this would be most appreciated.

Thank you to the families who have finalised their fees since last week. There are a high number of Year 6 families who have outstanding fees. Can these families ensure that all fees are settled as soon as possible.
