Getting into the Christmas Spirit

Year 8 - Making Gingerbread Houses & Trains!

On Thursday 8th December, Year 8 got into the Christmas spirit during our Food Lovers lesson by making their own Gingerbread Houses and Trains. In groups, they worked with their peers to put all the pieces together and decorate their Gingerbread house/train with some Christmas music in the background to enjoy!

It was great to see the students working together with their peers, helping each other out, being creative and enjoying this festive activity, as we near the conclusion of this school year.

The class was grateful for this activity, with one student saying “this is good practice for when I make a Gingerbread House at home” and another student saying “thank you Miss for a fun lesson.”

I was super proud of all the students’ efforts and contributions. Well Done Year 8!
