South Cares: Planning for the future

On Wednesday, 23 November 2022, the YARN connect group were given the opportunity to participate in the South Cares Education and Careers Exhibition held at the Whitlam Centre at Liverpool.  We were lucky to see cultural dances and were able to participate in the smoking ceremony to cleanse our souls. 

We walked around to different stalls and discussed the many future education and career opportunities we can undertake for our future jobs, and what we want to study once we finish high school.

This was also a great moment for us to communicate with our peers, mentors, and also other schools in building connections and relationships within our community.
