End of the Year and Stocktake

We are well under way with our annual stocktake with the secondary fiction and the non fiction  already completed. As we get to the primary fiction and picture books, we will make sure that all the borrowed books have returned from students to match our records with the books on the shelf.

Could you check in with your children to see if they have books hiding somewhere at home? We would love to see them back before the end of November.

Last Book Club for 2019

Last week, the last flyers for Scholastic Book Club for 2019 went out to classes. Issue 8 has some great Christmas ideas such as the new Nick Bland book The Super Bear which is part of the Bear series. There is a way to tag your LOOP buys so that the books come to you rather than the kids, in preparation for Christmas.

New Books

Some great additions to the library have come in over the last week. The Diary of a Wimpy Kid series has a new book out called Wrecking Ball and we also have the latest Funny Kid book called Funny Kid Kicks Butt.
