Wellbeing and Engagement

We cannot believe that we are drawing to a close the third Term of 2021. We are so disappointed to have spent so much of this term in lockdown – however we are also so thankful and grateful to our Rangeview families for the amazing work that each and every one of you has done from home to support the children’s learning. Many of our staff – teachers, support staff and leadership – are also working from home with young children to support, and we know the constant juggle that this presents.

We urge you these holidays to take a break – if you can. Let the children unplug wherever possible, but don’t be hard on yourselves when this doesn’t happen. There are limited activities open to us in Melbourne at the moment. Hopefully with the movement into Spring, the gorgeous sunny days will continue and this will lift all of our spirits.

Afghanistan Fundraiser

Thank you to all of the families that purchased Silly Socks from the Afghanistan fundraiser. We raised over $1,000 for the Child Foundation through the sale of 278 pairs of socks. The Silly Socks are being posted to the school and will be waiting for your child on the first day back onsite.

Father’s Day Breakfast

A huge thank you to Catherine O’Keefe for running the wonderful Father’s Day breakfast. The students on the panel were amazing and the one pan egg sandwiches looked delicious. My family made them again on Father’s Day and they were wonderful. Below is one of our dads and a Grade 5 student with their tasty creation!

Number Wonder

Our fabulous Grade 1 students have been wondering about numbers again. This week they were looking at capacity. How many standard measures can fit into containers of different sizes? What a lot of delicious pasta and rice!
