Level 4 News

This week the year 4 students have been busy submitting amazing work to Seesaw and attending morning meetings on WebEx. The attitude and persistence from the students has been outstanding.

We have spent the past few weeks celebrating and discussing the Paralympics in Japan. Australia did an amazing job collecting 21 Gold, 29 Silver and 30 Bronze. The students spent some time researching an Australian Paralympic athlete and finding out great facts about them and their challenges that lead them to where they are now.

Students also watched a webinar on the Esmart safety about gaming online which allowed for great discussion around how we should stay safe gaming, especially while in lockdown where it is a popular activity at home.

We are currently in the progress of completing our presentations for the Friends and Foe Inquiry topic in our classes. Every student has been extremely creative in their presenting skills. They have been using programs such as Book Creator and PowerPoint to inform the class, using pictures and diagrams. They have all done a great job researching and collating information during this term.

Feedback has returned from the Vermont Aged Care Nursing home and all residents were ecstatic to have received a letter from the students. It certainly brought a smile to their day. So thankyou to students and parents for delivering those letters.

With one more week of learning to go for the term. We would like to thank all the students and families for their support this term and we hope they have a nice relaxing break over the holidays. We are looking forward to term 4.
