Major building improvements continue on our campuses

Boarding Renovations on the Brisbane Street Campus

The Brisbane Street boarding renovations continue with works well advanced in Chapman House with painters repainting the entire building before the final push. The Main House bathroom renovations are nearing completion on the First Floor with the second floor to commence in Term 4. While Simpson House has had further painting and ongoing works as part of the Boarding House with more works to commence and be completed through the holiday break. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the boarding students and staff for working with us while we undertake these projects and we know you will all be very pleased with the end results.

WCC campus developments

Early this term it was announced that Calrossy has committed to the construction of a new Carpark, Ring-road, Kiss-n-drop and Bus zone Development. The concept plans have been approved by the Calrossy Anglican School Board at their September meeting. The next phase is the Tender process for construction to commence shortly with works to start during Term 4 and be finished ahead of 2022 Term 1. By the beginning of Term 4 our School community will be provided more information and there will be designs placed onto billboards throughout the campus.

Our earthmoving contractors have completed their works program and we welcome the arrival of our court contractors next week. The first task is to prepare the site for the concrete pour that will take place over 2 days and see a convoy of concrete trucks through our site. With all of the challenges placed upon our community we are envisaging the that the courts will be ready for school use in the middle of Term 4.
