ICAS

All ICAS competitions have been postponed until October. Students participating will be notified of the exact dates at the beginning of Term 4.

Tournament of Minds 

I am absolutely amazed at the resilience, creativity and commitment of our TOM students. They were at school finalising their scripts and filming their solutions when the snap lockdown was announced. The way the teams have rewritten their scripts and reworked their filming over Google Meet to still be able to submit a solution has been absolutely amazing. Luckily the due date has been extended by one week, giving everyone a little more time to refine their films.

I would like to acknowledge the huge effort put in by Ms Shaw and Miss Siebert in guiding their teams through these very trying times – thank you.

Chess

The College Chess Team overcame the challenges of lockdown to play against Kildare in the Country Schools Chess Championship this week. The team won all 4 games. Congratulations to Brandon Collins, Owen Ranby, Charlie Dore and Julian Cherian!
