Stage 2 Maths Olympics

Recently, budding Olympians from Years 3 and 4 took part in a series of maths activities based on the Olympic Games. Students competed in events such as the high jump, pool noodle javelin, cotton ball shotput, tennis, soccer, and paper plate discus. The teams applied number, measurement and data skills to calculate and record their attempts in each event and work out their individual and team scores. 3B and 4H enjoyed the opportunity to apply their maths skills and knowledge to real-life situations.
