Girls Rugby

During Term 4, O’Connor Catholic College applied to Sporting Schools to receive a grant for the already established Girls’ Rugby Program and OCC have been successful in receiving total funding approval for Term 4 for the amount of $3025! 

The Secondary Schools Grant Program has developed a targeted program for Secondary Schools that helps to provide access to tailored resources and support students, particularly girls, to help address the barriers that prevent teenagers from participating in sport. We look forward to being able to use the funds towards Girls’ Rugby at OCC.

If you are interested in playing Girls’ Rugby in either the competitions or coming along to training come and have a chat to Mrs Mellowship-Brown or Mr Roff in preparation for 2021!

NSW Hockey Athlete Acceleration Program

Congratulations to  Tyler McCann and Schumacher who have been included in the NSW Hockey Athlete Acceleration Program. (AAP).  We look forward to hearing more about their experiences throughout their time in the program. 

This is an U18 NSW state squad that will participate in weekly training sessions and attend further selection camps.

NSW U21 State Squad

Congratulations to Jake McCann, Keiran Wicks and Nathan Czinner  for their selection in the NSW U21 State Squad.

Nathan has also been selected in the National Junior Program and will participate in a Super Camp held in Canberra early next year.

This year with so many cancellation of events it is leasing to see these players identified for their obvious talent and commitment. 

 Indoor Hockey

We have a big group of students that have formed teams and will participate in the local competition. Best of luck and have a great time. Please follow all instructions to register and pay.
