Performing Arts News:

This term the year 7 Drama classes are focusing on expressive skills and the way that actors use voice, facial expressions, gestures and movement to create a character. We are doing this by creating and using sock puppets! The puppets that we make are constructed in a way that they can use their mouth to create expressions and have a hand with a rod mechanism so they can gesture. 

After making the puppets, the students will be writing short performances for their characters.
