Book Week

Book Week is coming up and will look a little different this year. 

To give everyone a chance to settle back in and a bit more time to prepare, this year Book Week will be celebrated from Monday 16 - Friday 20 November. This will be subject to current Government guidelines. 

Unfortunately, there will be no Book Fair and the Parade will become virtual for families. We will still be celebrating the shortlisted and winning books in the library and in the classrooms, and students will still get the chance to purchase books at our second-hand book sale. 

Friday 20 November will feature the Book Parade and students will be able to choose one 'weeded' library book to take home for a gold coin donation. 

 As students can’t come and read in the library at recess this term, I am bringing the library to them! 

Keep an eye out for tubs of books with labels like these at various locations around the school. 

This is a special collection that isn’t for borrowing, so please don’t take them home- they’re just to use in school at recess.
