BENDIGO WRITERS FESTIVAL 

Last Thursday, 4th May, Grades 1, 3, 5 & 6 students attended the Bendigo Writers Festival. The Grade 6s listened to conversations at the Capital Theatre by Kelly Gardiner, Craig Silvey and Reece Carter. Kelly Gardiner is the author of 'Fire Watcher', Craig Silvey the author of 'Runt' and Reece Carter the author of 'Haunted'.

Grades 3 & 5 attended sessions at the Ulumbarra Theatre by 'Chase the Moon' author Gabrielle Wang and 'Wild’s World' author Ailsa Wild. They also attended 'Dragon Dance' by author Lauren Mitchell, with the Grade 1s.
