Swimming Carnival
On Tuesday 12th of February we walked down to Kardinia Pool for our annual swimming carnival. It was an interesting day with lots of rain, wind and the occasional glimmer of sunshine. Nonetheless, it was fantastic to see so many students in attendance supporting their house, by cheering on their swimmers who braved the conditions.
There were a wide range of costumes on show supporting our ‘The 2000’s’ theme and even many of our staff members getting into the spirit of dressing up.

The winning house this year was once again Lipson on 602 points. They defeated Freeman on 425, closely followed by Gilmore on 407 and Beachley on 366.
A big thanks goes out to all the MFG Staff and this year’s House Captains on making the day such a success.
