9/10 Southern NSW Boys and Girls AFL Final
The last of our school sporting events wrapped up this week with the long awaited Boys and Girls AFL Football competition. The boys team and the girls team both travelled to Griffith on Wednesday with Miss Leah Thompson, Miss Meryn Chalmers, Mr Jack Carey and Mr Brett Burdeu to play in the 9/10 Southern NSW AFL Final. It was a warm day out which saw the girls team beaten by St Francis Regional College and win against Mater Dei Catholic College. The boys team, unfortunately, lost both their games to The Riverina Anglican College and Murrumbidgee RHS).
All students had a lot of fun playing at this competition and I am sure will be looking forward to it next year. Thank-you to the teachers and support staff who coached the students and travelled with them on the day.
