VISUAL ARTS NEWS

Christmas is close and all the students are enjoying creating art in celebration of the festive season. Thank you to all of KPS many wonderful parents for all of your generous donations.

Asia Day

What a great day. The students had a great time rotating around the many exciting activities. They got to taste a variety of Asian food and they all participated in dancing with our Bollywood dancer. Even our teachers got involved and Mr Roscoe was a standout favourite of our Bollywood performer.

As with all our wonderful extra curriculum events we have at Kilsyth Primary School, we simply could not do it without our kind and generous parents, who give up their time and help with so many thing.

I would like to personally thank Sharon Stitch, Tammy Bryson and Melinda Woodworth, for helping pick up the food for both the students and staff, as well as serve it on the day. You are awesome, and we are so lucky to have you as part of our school community.

Indonesian Ambassador Program

Next week, we will once again welcome back Windhi. He will again spend time with our students, teaching about aspects of Indonesia as well as the language. We are very lucky to be able to access this amazing program and enrich our students in Indonesian culture and language.

Enjoy the sunshine, which is hopefully on its way!!!

COLOUR EXPLOSION

I am thrilled to announce that our School Run4Fun Colour Explosion was a huge success. With your assistance we were able to raise $2500 which will be used for the new playground.

It was wonderful to see the spirit and enthusiasm that was displayed in supporting our school and of course the smiles on the student’s faces as they completed the run. What a blast of colour it was! Thank you to all of the parents that helped out on the day – we would not have been able to do it without you.

Student incentive prizes have been ordered and will be delivered shortly.
