Principal's Report

An AMAZING end to the year...

We wish our fabulous Year 6 students all the best for their AMAZING RACE this Friday.  One of the biggest events on the Year 6 calendar this race is a wonderful tradition here at Kilsyth Primary School. The year 6 students have a wonderful opportunity to put all of the problem solving, communication, geographical, literacy, numeracy and collaborative skills they have developed over their time at KPS into action in a real and relevant way, racing around the city.  This activity is great chance for our students to take the lead and show the independent, capable and creative young people they have become.

HAVE A GREAT DAY AND REMEMBER:  BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE!!!

Choir - Mooroolbark Carols night

A reminder that our choir will be performing at the Mooroolbark Carols night at Hookey Park this Friday night!  Sing up a storm team!!!  You always represent our school so very well.

Thank you so much!!!

Thank you so much to the parents and staff who made our Election Day BBQ such a success.  Your contribution of baked goods and time on the day helped us raise $1380.  An overwhelming result and a demonstration of what we can achieve when we all pull together!  Such a great community.

Coupled with the $2500 our Colour Explosion raised this week, we are well on the way toward our upgrade of our junior playground.  Our fundraising efforts in 2019 will all focus on this upgrade and we hope to have raised the full amount required by the end of next year.

THANK YOU!!!

I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ALL AT OUR CAROLS NIGHT NEXT WEEK

THURSDAY 13th DECEMBER - 5pm (Dinner) - 6.30pm

All students will be performing at our Carols night and we invite all families, extended family and friends to join us for this great community night.  We will be holding a sausage sizzle (another playground fundraiser) and Raffle.  Pre-order forms will come home later this week.  Order your sausages and join us for dinner, or pick up some fish and chips and we can all share a time of picnicing and celebrating on the oval.

Have a great week
