'The Wedding Singer'- Cast Announcement

2016 School Production

Last week the students of Lilydale High School were filled with nerves as auditions for this year's school production 'The Wedding Singer' commenced. 

Over the course of the week, the production team saw over one hundred students sing, dance and characterise their hearts out, in the hope of making through to the final cast.

On Monday 29 March, nervous excitement filled the air as the final cast was announced, both on 'Compass' and via the notice board at the entrance to the new Performing Arts Centre. 

Congratulations to all the students who made it through the auditions and are officially a part of this exciting show.

The first week of rehearsals begins on Monday 7 March and we can't wait to get this show started.

To those who did not make the cast this year, you are still able to be a part of the 2016 production as backstage crew, ushers, makeup artists and audience members, so stay tuned for future updates.

The limited season of 'The Wedding Singer' will be from  August 25 until August 27 and tickets will be available via the school's website later this year.
