Philip Green: Aboriginal Survival Technology Incursion Monday 28/6 Postponed

 

Unfortunately, Philip Green’s Incursion was postponed. The new date is in week 5 on Monday 16/8. The cost of the Incursion will be covered by the School. There will be no cost to the students. 

Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Week

Reconciliation Week was held from Thursday 27/5 to Thursday 3/6. The theme was “More Than a Word”.  NAIDOC Week will be held 4/7-11/7  2021NAIDOC Week is usually held in the first week (a Sunday to Sunday) of July that incorporates the second Friday – which historically was celebrated as 'National Aboriginal Day'. The theme is Heal Country. 

Students have participated in activities to recognise both weeks in classes and in Art with Mrs Thiele.

Students from Mark Cronin’s Year 5/6 class researched information about Eddie Mabo.
