Energy transformations 

Year 8 Science

Year 8 students have been learning about energy and energy transformations in Science. 

At the end of last term, students were able to demonstrate the energy transformation from potential to kinetic energy by constructing and observing lava lamps. Students had a lot of fun setting up the lamps and enjoyed watching the movement of the liquids. The use of different coloured dyes and light were added for an extra visual effect.
