In our Year 7 classes
The CAPA (Creative and Performing Arts) faculty have welcomed our new Year 7 students to their Visual Art classes, after swapping over from Music last semester. Not only have they handled the introduction to Visual Arts whilst learning from home exceptionally well, they have also been engaging in our lessons with enthusiasm. Along with meeting their new teachers, students have been participating in a range of lessons brainstorming what art is, the different elements and principles of design and using that to create works of art. Students have recently created their own visual interpretation of what art means to them using a range of materials.
