Zig Zag Ball

In playing Zig Zag Ball students soon realise that their individual actions greatly influence the team.

It's a game that asks every player to make a committed effort towards the team's pursuit of success. Players need to be aware of one another's strengths and weaknesses and work to support each other.

Teams that accept individual difference in skill and ability do well. Students that are unable to adapt to the requirements of fellow players and choose instead to get upset, angry or silly become a liability to the team.

Each round of the game is short, sharp and intense, requiring players to stay calm under pressure, recover quickly from mistakes and persevere in the face of difficulty.

This game asks students to take charge of themselves, encourage others to do the same, acknowledge their obligation to fellow players and strive to do the best they can.

The ball gets passed down the line in a zig zag fashion. If the ball hits the ground you start again. Once one ball is mastered, a second and then third ball is introduced one after the other. The aim is to get the balls to the other end as quickly as possible.
