Year 5 Mathematics
The grade 5s have been learning about volume.
The grade 5s have been learning about measuring the volume using formal units. We have explored cubic centimetres and cubic metres. To get a true understanding of the size of a cubic metre the students worked expertly together in teams to make a cubic metre. Such awesome mathematical work and team work from the grade 5s!
Year 6 - Day of Democracy
As a part of our Civics and Citizenship unit students have been exploring a range of Australian government concepts involving democratic systems, roles and responsibilities of government and the process of making laws.
To celebrate this unit students became an expert in a specific area of democracy. Here are some snaps of them setting up for our Day of Democracy presentation.
Year 3 - Readers Theatre
This week in Year 3 we have been rehearsing and performing readers theatre plays. Practising using our story teller voice adding expression and working cooperatively with different people.

Foundation to Year 2 - Responsible Pet Incursion
This week, the Foundation, Year 1s and Year 2s had a responsible pet incursion. We met Lynette and her dog, Jackie. We learnt how to be safe around dogs and the importance of asking first to pat dogs we don’t know. Some children were even lucky enough to pat Jackie!
Year 2 - Digital Technologies
In Year Two we have been exploring Digital Technology in the form of robotics this term. Students have thoroughly enjoyed coding Dash robots using iPad apps, to perform various functions and even complete races! We have also used the Osmo iPad attachment to code using block pieces.
Year 6 - Gratitude
