Farewell to our Sensational Sixes of 2022

As our grade 6 class of 2022 prepares for their graduation and departure from primary school, they expressed how they feel about leaving Mackellar. On behalf of their teachers from foundation onwards, we feel privileged to have contributed to their lives and proud of their accomplishments and the young people they have become. We wish them every success for year 7 and beyond.

Mackellar Primary School has made me some awesome memories I will never forget, I’ve also made loads of friends that made me feel safe at Mackellar.   Shenay 6A

Thank you for giving me a wonderful education. Mackellar has taught me how to work with others and use teamwork. It’s taught me many things I would’ve never known without this community. Thank you Mackellar!!  Tiana 6A

When I first started at Mackellar I felt nervous, but welcomed. But as the years pass, I’ve now learnt heaps, and have lots of experience. Now I have empowered myself to make a great leadership team.  Noah 6A

I have only been at this school for a year. But I’ve had so much fun and I’ve met so many different people and friends. I’m really looking forward to starting secondary school next year.  Jack 6A

Thank you Mackellar for this wonderful 7 year long journey here at this school with friends, and teachers. I have learnt a lot here and now ready to begin my journey in high school with a fresh start. Special thanks to all my friends and best friends I've made at this school and all teachers here helping each and every one of us students. I’ve been in Mackellar Primary School for seven years. I’ve learned a lot in reading, writing, maths and science. I’m trying to become a good man. I will miss my principal, Mrs Wood, I will miss all aides, teachers, canteen, and all my friends. Goodbye everyone, I will always remember you! Kamal 6A

I have been at Mackellar for 3 years, those years have been so good and I have met many people.  I am looking forward to high school and again meeting new people.  Another chapter in my exciting life has just begun. Thank you Mackellar!  Ethan 6A
