Welcome Back to School for 2023!
The Parent’s Committee have planned a raft of great events for CJC for 2023 and we hope to build on the momentum gained in 2022 for an even better 2023. The role of the Parent’s Committee is to build a strong community at CJC, to create a supportive learning environment for our children. We do this by running events for the school, building community connections and raising funds for projects to make CJC a better place for our children.
2023 Class Convenors: We are looking for two class convenors for each class in 2023. If you are interested in undertaking this role as a liaison between your teacher, parents, Parent’s Committee and the School please let us know. There are many experienced convenors , as well as the Head Convenor, to assist you in this role so you will not be alone. It usually requires less an 30 minutes of your time each week. It is a great way to get to know parents in your child’s class and to create a vibrant school community. Friday Treats: Friday Treats will be back from next Friday. Icy Poles will be on sale in Term 1 for $1.
Information Day Picnic – Thursday, 9 February : The Parent’s Committee will have pains aux chocolate for sale ($4), icy poles and serve yourself coffee. Come and introduce yourself and find out about the events and fundraising plans for 2023. Please note that due to supplier price increases, pain aux chocolate will now be $4 for the remainder of 2023.
Uniform Shop: The uniform shop will be held on Friday, 10 February 3.15 – 3.45pm in the main building. We are also looking for a person to assist with washing our uniform donations prior to our sales. Washing detergent will be provided.
Class Convenor Welcome Breakfast: On Friday 24 February from 8.30 – 9.30am , PC would like to invite all of the new and returning Class Convenors to a welcome breakfast for 2023.
Parent’s Committee 2023 Kick Off Meeting: Friday, 17 February at 9 – 10am. Either in person or virtually. Zoom dial in to be provided.
Parent’s Committee AGM: Friday, 3 March at 9 – 10.30. We will report on 2022, share our 2023 plans and elect new office holders. All welcome. Morning Tea will be provided. Either in person or virtually. Zoom dial in to be provided.
