PFA News

Hi everyone!

Welcome back to another school year! So excited to have the children back at school...not so excited about making school lunches! But that's how it goes.

I wanted to firstly welcome all the new families to our school community! We have a lot of really fun and engaging things planned for the year ahead - events for the children, families and of course some events just for parents/care givers.

To those that participated in our PFA survey towards the end of last year - we are so grateful for your feedback and honesty. Those that said in your survey response that you would like to be part of the PFA in 2023, we will reach out to you over the next week. 

First up this year we are hosting a "Welcome Picnic" next Friday 10th Feb straight after school on the school oval.  We have many activities planned  including ball sports and fun games for the whole family to enjoy. We also have stalls including lucky dips, bake stalls, craft activities and more..... A huge thanks to our Grade 6 leaders who are coordinating and running a lot of the activities and stalls on the day.

And to fill hungry bellies we have a sausage sizzle PLUS  additional support from our community with a "Mobile Munchies & Co" food truck.

Bring along picnic rugs, picnic food and drinks too if you wish - weather forecast looks great at this stage so let's make the most of it! Flyer below with more info:

Onto some formalities - I would like to take the opportunity to welcome Nicola McGuire to the PFA Executive Committee as our new Secretary - thank you Nicola and looking forward to a successful and fun year ahead.
