Welcome Back
Welcome back! What an exciting start to year it has been - particularly as we have officially moved back into our newly refurbished main building! This has been incredibly exciting for our students, staff and families after close to 18 months of being displaced. With the building works completed and the redevelopment of the basketball / netball court completed, 2023 promises to be a wonderful year! If you haven't yet had a look at the new building, families are welcome to have a walk-through on Thursday afternoon between 3:30pm and 3:45pm.
Congratulations and welcome to all students - particularly our prep students who have enjoyed a great start to the year. If you are visiting the school, please remember to sign in via XUNO kiosk in the office. Apologies to any parents with prams or visitors with mobility difficulties - the ramp entrance will be completed by this Friday.
Before and After Photos
House and Sports Representative Announced!
Congratulations to the following students who have been appointed as our school's 2023 House and Sports Representatives:
House Representatives
Ireland - Lara Webb, Taylor Burnett
Gardiner – Ella Mae Varty, Ryan Deetlefs
Jones – Mia Yeoh, Vivaan Lakhatariya
Cato – Joe Ramasamy, Nicholas Malliaras
Sports Representatives
Sam Tallis & Lawson Foley
The process to appoint these leaders involved students from years 3-6 'listening' to speeches made by year 6 candidates. Names of those delivering the speech were kept anonymous. Thank you to all voting students for taking this process so seriously and for thinking deeply about the type of leader that they would like to represent them at school.
2022 Year Book Update
Despite a couple of hold-ups, the 2022 Year Book will be landing in the next week or so. If you've ordered copies last year, they will be delivered directly to students. Families who have left the school will receive their copies via mail delivery.
2023 Parent Payments: Ready for Payment via XUNO
Sincere thanks to families who supported the school with the 2022 Parent Payments Program. This financial support is critical in terms of the school achieving it's academic and wellbeing aims. Via the voluntary donations, the school has also been able to significantly improve school facilities and play areas (i.e. COLA and basketball/netball court redevelopment).
Please note that the 2023 Parent Payments can now be made via XUNO. There are are a number of payment plan options to suit your family needs. Hardcopies of the 2023 Parent Payments will be sent home by the end of the week.

Security Update
This week, we will be changing the codes to both the Burgess Street & Cottage gates.
We are encouraging all visitors, both parents and others, to enter the school via the main gate in Tooronga Road and to come into the school through the Main Office. All visitors during the day must sign in to notify us that they are onsite.
The security of the side gates is paramount to our Child Safety processes and for Emergency Management purposes, is important that the school has oversight of visitors that are onsite at any one time. For these reasons, the code will not be shared with the wider community.
Please be reassured that the gates will continue to be opened at 8:45am each morning and at 3:15pm each afternoon for drop off and pick up.
