Transition Days

Transition Days – Years 8, 9, 10

The purpose of our upcoming Transition Days is to reflect and celebrate the achievements and highlights of the year. The sub school team will host these days with a focus on, not only celebrating the year, but also establishing clear expectations for 2023. 

 

Year 10 to 11 Transition Day

Friday 2 December

For our Year 10 students going into Year 11, this will be an opportunity to better prepare our students for the big step into VCE.

 

Note: Students who aren’t using Edrolo next year will be dismissed at 2.30pm

 

Year 9 to 10 Transition Day 

Friday 2 December

For our Year 9 students going into Year 10, we will providing a better understanding of what being part of Senior School entails. 

 

Students will participate in workshop groups to set goals for the following year, build teamwork skills, be introduced to the Senior School team and the learning spaces, and be given an explicit overview of learning and attendance requirements.  

 

Year 8 to 9 Transition Day

Friday 9 December

For our Year 8 students going into Year 9, we will be acknowledging the significance of transitioning into the Senior School in 2023. 

 

They will be introduced to the Senior Centre and given the opportunity to engage in team building activities and set goals for the following year. 

 

After lunch, we will have a formal assembly to acknowledge outstanding achievements and to celebrate the highlights of the year. Students will be formally recognised for their contributions to Middle School and given a chance to say goodbye to their Middle School Leaders. 

 

Year 8 Parent Invitation

Year 8 parents are invited to light refreshments with the Sub School Team and Principal Team at 1.30pm and then to attend the assembly in the Senior Centre to celebrate the year and recognise the achievements of our students.
