Sporting excellence: congratulations Holly

A great achievement, and a well deserved honour

Congratulations to Holly Francis who was awarded a Pierre de Coubertin Award.  This is a great achievement – thank you to Sarah Blanchard for nominating Holly.  Katie Archibald and Sarah accompanied Holly with her parents to the MCG to receive the award at the Olympic Museum.  The awards were presented by a fleet of past Olympians

Ella Baxter and Rhys Seakins also attended.  Holly received the award for Sports Coaching and leadership. Rhys has done particularly well in coaching and leadership (he also coaches year 7 football) and Ella has demonstrated sport leadership alongside Holly with the year 7 soccer team.
