Message From Bev and Kim 

Its been wonderful having all our children back this past week, and our focus now shifts to ensuring we all have a strong finish into the holidays.  'By its nature a crisis turns everything on its head' forcing us all to think differently as it becomes more and more difficult to find relevance in the 'status quo'.  Wellbeing is at the heart of everything during this time as we work together to provide a profound sense of psychological safety for our kids and for ourselves. Again, thank you to our community for joining in with us to ensure that ongoing support. 

EVENTS UPDATE, following this week's government announcement re easing restrictions as of 11:59pm tonight.

Interschool Sport: Not resumed at this stage. Details will be  confirmed asap, stay tuned to Compass.

Division Cross Country: has been cancelled. The top three runners from the District Competition will now get to go through to Regionals. Congratulations to Ariel, Georgia and Tilly – we wish you all the best when this event takes place early next term (July 20).

Three Way Conferences: Don’t forget to sign up via Compass Conferences for a chance to meet with your class teacher. Congratulations to our students and teachers for their preparation for this event, an opportunity to share learning goals and progress.

Student reports go live on Compass tomorrow, and we thank our staff for their effort in preparing these. 

Our Walk-a-thon is on next Wednesday, June 23rd. Thanks for supporting our children to confirm sponsors in preparation. Please see our newsletter for further information re the Sponsorship Cards that should have gone home by now. Many thanks to Viv, Jenny, Leah and the Grainger House Captains for their organisation of this event. Thursday is our termly SRC Fundraiser (postponed due to originally taking place during lockdown) in follow up to our Reconciliation Week Art Competition.

End of term: Next week is the final week of term 2! A reminder to parents of the early finish time of 2:30pm.
