Levels 1 & 2

Level 1 Update

In Level 1 we have been learning all about light in our inquiry unit. We have investigated the differences between night and day and have learnt all about shadows. We made shadow puppets and even traced our shadows on the basketball court (when the sun let us!) In Literacy, we have learnt about similes and how we can use them to give a reader a clearer picture in their mind. Then we wrote similes about ourselves. 

Level 2 Update

Level 2 students had a fantastic time completing buddy reading and eating snack in their blanket forts. They used chairs, blankets, torches, pillows, dressing gowns and oodies to create the perfect fort to huddle under. We had a great morning together!
