YEAR 7 SCRATCH WINNERS

After waiting for many weeks, it was great to have an opportunity to present the Year 7 Scratch winners with their prizes. This year, there were so many great entries that we awarded five main prizes and five runner up prizes. The main prize winners were each presented with a $50 voucher that they could spend at a variety of outlets. Those that were Runners up were given a big box of Cadbury’s Favourites that I hope they shared with their family and friends! 

Well done to all the Year 7 students who took part in the Scratch animation competition.

YEAR 10 INFORMATION SYSTEMS

Students in Year 10 Information Systems have been learning about Binary Systems, Algorithms and Programming in Python during Terms 3 and 4. Students were given the opportunity to complete a Level 1 or 2 Certificate in Python based on their prior knowledge from Year 9.

Students have just completed a unit about Networking Technologies and now they will undertake a second language such as C++, C#, Java, Javascript, Swift and Ruby.
