We hope this week has gone well for you all at home.
We are still locked down and this of course has had very unfortunate implications for our P&F calendar...once again! It was very frustrating to be sitting at home on Saturday Night, on the night our first big event in18 months was supposed to be held!! The good news is that the very organised Grade 2 Champions will be ready to go with a new date later in the year, which we will announce once finalised and when we are back to school which we hope is very soon! We are confident the excitement and great vibe that surrounded this event will re-emerge when we can hold it!
DISCO BINGO ONLINE SILENT AUCTION .,, A HUGE THANKS!
Thanks to the many people who supported our silent online auction which was running alongside our big event. It ended yesterday and we were blown away by the fact that it raised $4,855.50 for our school!!
Congratulations to all the successful bidders! Emails with instructions of how to pay have been sent. Once we have received payment we will be in contact to send or get your purchases to you. Lockdown may mean it will take a little longer but we will try our best!
Please look out for our acknowledgment and thanks in our next newsletter/emails to all the very generous families and businesses who supported our school, especially in these difficult times.
SUBWAY FOOD DAY
Given that there is still uncertainty about when students will return to school we will now wait until we have a firm date before confirming a date for Subway. We will ensure that those that didn't get to hand in orders have a day to do so. Keep an eye out for our email or messages from Dave Mutimer with the new date. If your child will not be here on the new date and you had put in an order it won’t be a problem to return your order to you if you email us.
ENTERTAINMENT FUNDRAISER
With all the bad news we’re dealing with at the moment, there is one bit of good news we’d like to pass on. The FREE UPGRADE deal from Entertainment has been extended until 14th June 11:59pm AEST.
That’s right! Anybody who purchases a $69.99 Single City Membership will be upgraded to a Multi City Membership valued at $119.98 for FREE!
That means, even though we’re in lockdown, you can still support local restaurants and cafes (contained within the membership) by using their Entertainment deals to purchase takeaway food options.
