We are wishing everyone a HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!! It's finally here!! Read on to find out fun events in line with Pride Month that you can go to. 

We hope that everyone is doing well and is safe during the lockdown period. We know that it is hard, and if you need to, we urge you to reach out to a friend, trusted adult, the wellbeing centre or one of these external resources. 

PRIDE MONTH is an entire month dedicated to the uplifting of LGBTQ voices, celebration of LGBTQ culture and the support of LGBTQ rights. For more information, check out PRIDE MONTH 2021 - June | National Today.

At MGC, the DIV team has come up with a few ways to celebrate PRIDE MONTH. Every morning of June, a song from a queer artist would play on the speakers. We were going to have the esteemed ‘Pride Picnic’, and hold giveaways with stickers and other rainbow items! We were looking to have a collaboration with Joy Radio. Fingers crossed lockdown ends in time for us to be able to enjoy these events.
