Career Expos 2023
Students in Years 9, 10, 11 and 12 will have the opportunity to attend a Careers Expo in May.
Year 12 VCE & VCE VM students
VCE and Careers Expo at the Caulfield Racecourse on Friday 5th May.
This is a whole day excursion. There will be no VCE or VCE VM classes at the College on this day.
Year 11 VCE & VCE VM students
Victorian Careers Show at the Melbourne Showgrounds on Friday 19th May.
This is a whole day excursion. There will be no VCE or VCE VM classes at the College on this day.
Year 10 students
Tomorrow Bound at the Bendigo Stadium on Thursday 25th May.
The students will depart at 9.00am and return at approximately 2.00pm.
Year 9 students
Careers Day Out at DECA, 145 Wanganui Road Shepparton, on Wednesday 10th May. The students will depart at 12.00pm and return at approximately 2.30pm.
An Operoo notice will be sent to Parents/Caregivers. Students will be required to wear their full school academic uniform and to provide their own lunch, snacks and water bottle.

Discover ACU
ACU would like to invite students to register for the free Discover ACU events which will take place during the Term 1 and 2 school holidays.
Ballarat Campus: Thursday 20th April 2023, 10am – 2pm
Melbourne Campus: Tuesday 27th June – Thursday 29th June 2023, 10am – 12pm
Discover ACU events are designed to give students a taste of university life. Students will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on workshops with faculty experts, explore the first-class facilities, chat with current students and alumni as well as take a tour of the beautiful campuses.

The University of Melbourne Hansen Scholarship
The Hansen Scholarship will be awarded to talented undergraduate students whose financial circumstances present a challenge accessing tertiary education. Recipients will be awarded accommodation, an allowance, and financial and personal support.
Applications are now open for current Year 12 students.
Final applications are due by Thursday 30th March.

The University of Melbourne: Newman College information session
Victoria Howard from Newman College will visit St Augustine's College on Wednesday 26th April from 1pm-2pm. Victoria will provide information about accommodation at Newman College for students who are studying at the University of Melbourne, ACU, Monash (Pharmacy) & RMIT. The information session will be held in MR1.
UCAT (University Clinical Aptitude Test)
Students interested in pursuing medicine and dentistry need to sit the UCAT test in July/August 2023. MedEntry is a government-accredited Registered Training Organisation specialising in UCAT preparation. MedEntry offers free resources, discounts of 40% for groups of two or more, and many other discounts, including for those nominated by their teacher.
