Chapel and Assembly

Families are welcome to come along to the Church for Chapel on Wednesday mornings from 9am and to the hall for Assemblies on Friday mornings from 9am. Please note that our first whole school Assembly will be this week, Friday 10 March. This will be led by the Community Leaders and JVC children. Chapel and Assemblies will continue to be livestreamed on our closed group on Facebook each week.

Wednesday Chapel

Chapel in Term 1 has had a focus on the people that Jesus met and interacted with, and what we can take away from these meetings and moments in Jesus’s Life. Later in Term 1 we will shift to the theme of Holy Week but we will continue to look at Jesus and this amazing story through the eyes of people who encountered him during this time.

Thank you to Mr Fay for leading us today with the story of Nicodemus.

The remainder of the Term 1 Chapels will be led by:

Week 7 (15/3) Mr Mayer: Palm Sunday: The people of Jerusalem

Week 8 (22/3) 3 Burgan: The Last Supper: Jesus Disciples

Week 9 (29/3) Miss Mattner: Garden of Gethsemane/ Jesus’ Arrest: Judas

Week 10 (5/4) 2 Tew/ Voigt: Peter’s Denial: Peter

Week 11 (13/4) Pastor Matt & Vicar Tom- Closing Chapel: Crucifixion and Resurrection
