Principal's Report

The past weekend was a clear example of the amazing environment we live in, and people taking full advantage of the lovely weather and outdoor pursuits, with the Conquestathon on Saturday and the Enduro on Sunday. A number of students and staff participated in both events, with some achieving highly. Congratulations to all that participated!

School Council Self Nominations

Thank you to the parents, students and staff that self-nominated for a term on school council. With the nomination deadline closed, we received just enough self-nominations for parent and staff representatives, so there will be no need for a ballot, however there will need to be a ballot for the student representatives. This will take place in Home Group this week.

Our school council this year will be made up of Meredith Anderson, Erin Angelini, Jason Frede, Bronwyn Gray, Angela Stratton and Elisa Walker as our parent representatives, Jarrah Brennan, Chris Greenhalgh, Sarah Laidlaw and me as staff representatives, and a ballot will determine our student representatives.

Date Reminders 

Don’t forget that next Monday 13th is the Labour Day public holiday. School will be closed.

Tuesday 14th is a student free day. This will be the whole staff Professional Practice day, where all staff will be undertaking the first day of the Emotional Preparedness training, a 2 day training program the Department is providing to our school and Mount Beauty Primary School. While school will be open, the office will be minimally staffed at times, due to the training.
