Parents and Friends Association

On the 28th of February the Parents and Friends AGM was held at Mazenod College. This was the inaugural meeting for this group with the amalgamation of the Mothers Committee and Father's Association. 

The energy and enthusiasm of the individuals present was infectious, and it is with great pleasure that we announce the key committee members of the P&F:

President: Daniel Kelly

Vice President: Agnes Vinh 

Secretary: James Worladge

Treasurer: Juliet Fu

In the last newsletter, Daniel included a brief biography so that the school community could get to know the generous individuals who are leading Mazenod’s Parent and Friends Association. In this issue, we learn a little about Agnes.

Agnes Vinh:

As a wife of an old boy, I spend my time juggling between work, chauffeuring my 2 boys to their sports, and looking after 2 adorable Frenchies. I enjoy spending time with family and friends.

I’m thrilled my eldest is now following in the footsteps of his dad and uncles in becoming a part of the Mazenod family and this has motivated me to get involved with the newly formed Parents and Friends Association. Our focus will be to help our community grow and continue to provide a support network for the students and families.

I encourage anyone who is interested to get in contact as it's a great way of meeting others and getting involved with our school community.

Walk With Mary 2023

How often in history God has delivered His people from the widest spectrum of difficulties after His Mother has been honoured, especially through public processions. 

He acts in this way to let us know that He continues to bless us through Our Lady.  So let us all come together on this special Sunday held close to the beautiful Feast of the  Annunciation.

On Sunday March 26th, at St Patrick’s Cathedral we will have, once again a beautiful afternoon with prayers, Holy Mass and a Street Procession.  Bishop Columba will be the main celebrant for the occasion.  Please bring your children along and indeed your whole family.  

No doubt Our Lady will smile at all who come with love and trust on this special day.  Come and be blessed!
