Parent community 2022 signups 

The 2022 PFA and CSR sign-up is open, and I encourage you to consider signing up and making the most of the opportunities we have next year to come together.  This sign-up is an indication of your interest. Our volunteer structure is flexible in meeting your needs and changing situations and your time is very much appreciated. 

There are several of us leaving with our Year 12 students this year and we look forward to ensuring a smooth transition. Should you wish to discuss any role in the Exec (in particular, the role of President, Vice-President and the Food Care Coordinator), or on the team, please contact ck.ten@hotmail.com.   

Judy Allen award 

Nominations open on 17 September for the prestigious Judy Allen Award. This annual award is presented to a member of the KGS community who has made an outstanding contribution to the School for over a 5-year period. Nominations close on 18 October.

Crafting dates 

Our craft team moved sessions online and are now preparing to send sewing packs home, starting with tote bags. To join in or find more information, please email Eleri Stephens at elerim@gmail.com.  

Sessions will continue online to help beginners, and all are welcome to join in with their own projects, or just to chat. Earring/jewellery making will be offered as an activity soon.

Welcome to Bianca Lapins, our new Community Relations Officer. You can meet Bianca at the next General Meeting and CSR catch-up. We look forward to a great new team.

I hope the term break allows you some time to recharge for Term 4. To welcome in the new Spring season, keep your eyes open locally for games, walks, art and gardening. Happy holidays.
