Celebrating our Dads in the ELC

Tamara Bryan, ELC Teacher

Celebrations are an important component within our ELC program as they create a sense of belonging and community for our children and families.

Celebrating families is an enriching experience for the children, and although we were unable to invite our Dads to celebrate at the ELC, we were able to come together online on Teams.

During our meeting, we sang some fun songs and read a story about our special dad. Prior to lockdown, we had thoughtfully created gifts and cards for them, and therefore had the good fortune to be able to share these. We even made a story about dads.

We hope that all our fathers were able to enjoy their special day.
