I would like to warmly welcome all our new and existing families to St Joseph’s. I hope that your Christmas and New Year break was a happy and relaxing time for your families. It will be great to get reacquainted with all of you throughout the year as we start to build relationships across our school community and embark on the learning journey together for 2021.

It is amazing to see the fantastic contemporary learning spaces and overall refurbishment of the school. The staff and students are definitely very fortunate to have such an outstanding learning environment and state of the art facilities.

While it is wonderful to have these new facilities it is important for us to maintain our focus on learning and have high expectations for behaviour both in and outside the classroom. We are focussed on positive student learning experiences and take interruptions to learning very seriously. Please support us by encouraging positive behaviour at school becauselearning matters. A reminder that ‘manners cost nothing but mean a great deal’ and that ‘our actions speak louder than words.’

I would like to thank Mrs Hanes and the staff for making me feel so welcome back here at St Joseph’s. I look forward to working with such a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring staff again this year. Thank you for your continued support as we begin a new year of learning at St Joseph’s
