Dear Parents and Carers,

We are nearly at the end of the term, hard to believe! Even though we are so close, we ask that you follow the Sprout processes over the next two weeks. We are extremely busy, experiencing a high volume of orders in the canteen (which is wonderful! thank you to everyone for giving us a helping hand). However we are also on a skeleton staff, which has an impact on our capacity to meet demand in time for recess and lunch. If you could please consider this when ordering lunch that would be greatly appreciated. The processes we have in place are designed to streamline our production, please find following a reminder of the ordering process. Huge thanks in advance for your support!

Refer to the most recent menu for options and pricing (e.g. 50c extra for toasted)
Provide a lunchbox that is a suitable size and shape for what you have ordered OR provide a paper bag
Check that you have put money in with your order (if paying for multiple children, write on each of the orders that you have done this)
Please try to have the correct or closest money
Please do not order icy poles with your lunch order. They are undeliverable
Please do not order recess

Where possible, i.e. if you know in advance that you will be placing a lunch order, please consider these requests. We know it is easy to get caught on the backfoot, it happens to us all, we understand. However please consider that when we are trying to manage constant anomalies and deviations from our system, it takes us time that we do not have to spare.

We are rolling out a new digital sign in/out system called QK office/ Xplor.

We are going now to go live with the new system on Monday the 14th of December. This means you are still required to use My Family Lounge and QK enroll in the meantime.

WHAT IS HAPPENING?

We are moving to a new Digital Attendance system which will replace our current sign in / out functionality. It will be a similar system to the kiosk that is utilised in the Sign in/out area (currently at MPR glass door – due to COVID) allowing you to sign in and out your children contactless with a QR Code scanner from your phone, or using a phone number and PIN code

UPDATES:

This week you have been invited via email to set up your account for the Digital Attendance system. Please keep an eye out for this email and create your password
Once you have set up your account online, please download the parent app called ‘Xplor Home’ and log in. This will allow you to sign in your child next week with the QR Code scanner
If you prefer to sign in and out with your mobile and pin, create an Xplor ID from your welcome e-mail

STUDENT FREE DAY: Friday the 11th of December

OSHC is offering All day OSHC for the curriculum day on Friday the 11th of December.

If you need child care for your child/ren please log in MFL app and book the student free day by Monday the 7th of Dec as we need to organise the program, ratio and so on.

All the bookings for Before and After School Care on Friday the 11th of Dec will be removed.

The sessions will run from 7:30am to 6pm, and the cost will be $75 for the day (eligible for CCS).

As a guide if you are eligible for CCS:

If you CCS is 85% - out pocket costs would be approx. $11.25

If you CCS is 50% - out pocket costs would be $37.5

If you CCS is 20% - out pocket costs would be approx. $63.75

OSHC will provide breakfast, a morning tea, lunch and an afternoon tea. The program and more information will be emailed to you close to the date.
