Year 12 student results

Your VCE study scores, ATAR and VTAC Scaled Study Scores will be available to you via the Results and ATAR website and the Results and ATAR app. All current VCE students will receive a statement of VCE study scores from the VCAA. However, only students who have applied for courses through VTAC this year and have paid their VTAC processing fees will be sent an ATAR statement in the mail.

How to access your results online

The VCE results and ATAR Service will be available on Wednesday 30th December, 7am.

To view your results online register online at  resultsandatar.vic.edu.au using the instructions provided there. You will then be able to access. Note: The Results and ATAR service log in details are different from your VTAC ID and PIN. VCE students can access their ATAR in the VTAC account.

Year 12 students applying through VTAC – Change of Preference

Change of Preference (CoP) gives you the chance to add, delete and reorder your university and/or TAFE preferences.

On school-campus Change of Preference support:

Wednesday 30th December (10am – 4pm) McGuire campus in the Senior Study Centre there will be Careers advisors, Neighbourhood Leaders and, from 10-12, La Trobe University to assist with understanding your results and your course options

Wednesday 30th December (10am – 4pm) Wanganui campus in the Senior Learning Centre there will be Careers advisors, Neighbourhood Leaders and, from 12-4 , La Trobe University to assist with understanding your results and your course options

Thursday 31st December (9am – 3pm) Wanganui campus in the Senior Learning Centre there will be Careers advisors and, from 9-12, La Trobe University to assist with understanding your results and your course options

If you receive an offer, you will be offered the course highest on your preference list you are eligible for (you have met the ATAR and selection criteria requirements). It is also the last chance you have to make sure your preference list reflects what you would like to study in the future. After receiving your results and checking these against pre-requisites for courses in your preferences you have until midday Jan 4th 2021 to make changes.

Change of Preference support direct from the Universities, TAFE’s and other Institutes

All providers are offering Change of Preference support to students in one form or another. Students are encouraged to use these services wherever possible. La Trobe University will be on-site at both campuses as well as their Shepparton campus. Sarah Poppa from GOTAFE will also be available via telephone on Wednesday Dec 30th Contact one of the GSSC Careers advisors for Sarah’s contact details.

Want to do a campus visit to Monash University?

If you are interested in studying an undergraduate degree but are unsure of which campus to go to it can be worthwhile checking the universities out in person which we are now allowed to do. Monash University has opened up some times for you to do just that but you will need to book as numbers are restricted. Go to www.monash.edu/change-of-preference/campus-tours to make your booking if you are interested.

About 80% of all job vacancies aren’t advertised, so it is crucial that you market yourself to businesses with an excellent resume and cover letter. Make sure you tell as many people as possible that you are looking for work as often employers rely on ‘word of mouth’ to recruit for their positions.
