TERM 4 

During Week 11, Science students engaged in our Head Start 2021 program and met their teachers and focused on their scientific writing.

VCE SCIENCE

We have hit the ground running with Unit 3 & 4 Biology focusing on the student’s Key Science Skills. 

The students have used bubble mixture to model 3 cell concepts about the plasma membrane; its fluidity, its ability to repair itself and the presence of channel proteins to allow large or charged molecules inside the cell. 

The students then completed an experiment to investigate the effect of temperature on the plasma membrane. 

They are now at home working hard on their holiday homework to ensure a great start to 2021!
