XANADU

As 2020 draws to a close, we're thankful for the great times we've had as a Xanadu cast. Even though we didn't actually get to present the show, we still built a wonderful community and had some great times rehearsing and devising. We're very excited to still be bringing the show to the stage next year, in what is already being affectionately labelled 'Xana-Two'.

We're planning to bring the show to you in early Term 3, so keep a close eye out for further announcements. We'll miss our outgoing Year 12s, but invite them back for cameo performances should they be available in 2021.

There will also be announcements regarding casting early next year and an opportunity for those who were not involved in the cast this year to audition for a limited number of places, including incoming Year 7.

As always we thank everyone who has been part of our unusual journey this year, parents taking students to and from rehearsals, while also making space in their houses during remote learning.  To staff members who helped out in a variety of ways or were so ready to help out should the show have happened, and of course to our fantastic cast and crew! In a strange year it was such a breath of fresh air to work with you, whether in person or on a screen. There is so much talent bursting through this group and we can't wait to show that off to the public next year.

Remember: "To love someone else and create art... that is Xanadu!"

Best wishes from the Xanadu Team.
