Preps

We have made it to the end of the first half of our Prep year and we can’t believe how quickly the time has flown by. It really doesn’t feel that long ago that it was the first day of school. To finish off this term we have had a busy week with lots of exciting events.

On Monday we had Renee our KESO (Koorie Engagement Support Officer) come and run a Play Based Learning session with the kids. They were able to explore boomerangs, marngrooks and other indigenous artefacts.

Later in the day we had a viewing for parents and families of the Preps first school projects. It was amazing to see all of the hard work that went into them and the end results were brilliant.

On Tuesday we had a session with our buddies using the Unboxy materials to make all sorts of constructions.

Please don’ forget that we need parent helpers for the cooking and gardening sessions during Term 3. Prep A will cook on Tuesday and Prep N on Wednesday, both classes will garden on a Thursday.
