Principal's Message

Dear Parents and friends,

This week our students from year 3 and year 5 will be receiving their NAPLAN report via post.  NAPLAN is the national literacy and numeracy assessment. It is just one aspect of our schools overall teaching and learning assessments and give a broad check in for students and whole school directions.  This year the NAPLAN moved to adaptive online testing and assessing proficiencies.  Well done to all of our students!

We are heading into colder months, and it is important that students are wearing warmer uniform.  I know children go through a growth spurt and sometimes in the wetter weather it’s harder to get everything washed and dried, However I am seeing students with more non uniform clothing creeping in.  Please ensure that your child is in full uniform every day.  Best and less, Big W or Kmart often have uniform blue clothing that is very inexpensive.

We also have a lost property box in the courtyard to retrieve items of clothing.  In the coming weeks students out of uniform will get a notice sent home to help remind them.
